19th century French Louis XV style marquetry lady's table / desk

A very fine and well-proportioned 19th century French lady's desk, the case veneered with marquetry decoration and embellished with finely cast and finished gilt bronze mounts. The desk is fitted with three drawers to the frieze and three ‘faux’ drawers to the reverse and is raised on serpentine legs terminating in gilt bronze feet.
